Caring for Caregivers: Home Caregiving Grant & New Caregiver Grant Enhancements from 2026
From April 2026, the Home Caregiving Grant (HCG) will be enhanced to provide up to $600 per month—a significant increase from the current $400 cap. The income ceiling will also be raised, allowing more families to qualify.

Applies even for households that own multiple properties
One-Off Fee Relief (July 2025–June 2026)
To support the transition, the Ministry of Health will offer a one-time fee rebate on long-term care services during this period.

An additional $400 annual grant will be available from 2025 for informal and unpaid caregivers.
